[+] The food was really good, and not huge portions so you can squeeze in a dessert without feeling like you’ll pass out. The staff are AMAZING, our receptionist was so sweet and helped sort out an issue I had (completely my fault) with the booking and even got us an upgrade for just a teensy bit more money which was well worth it. The welcome massage gets you right into vacation mood. Enrique at the bar is so knowledgeable and welcoming, and the attendant at the pool just goes the extra mile. The vibe is definitely more calm, it’s not a party place so be prepared to relax.
[-] Lots of older Americans visit, which we figured would be the case (we’re Canadian/Mexican). But we definitely felt a bit of the cliche American entitlement from a few guests. Though it was never an issue, just something we’d raise an eyebrow at.

[+] I liked the location, the friendly staff, cleanliness of the the facility, the view from my room. The food was excellent !I can not say enough good things about this experience. My wife and I were on a 2nd honeymoon and our stay at Villa Premiere boutique exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be going back to the Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel.
[-] My stay was too short! next year we hope to be back for a longer stay. I can not think or say of any moment that I dis-liked during my stay at Villa Boutique.

[+] Large breakfast menu – all delicious! We also really liked our dinners. The live music was a nice touch. Staff was all very friendly and attentive. It was great to see a ton of returning guests as well. Resort was very well kept.
[-] One of the restaurants was closed during our stay, which we were not made aware of. Thankfully we were only there for 3 days and the other restaurants had more than enough options! We could also hear the connecting room quite clearly, which made for a lack of privacy.

[+] Staff were great. Special thanks to : Paul-pool manager, Jorge-pool waiter, Javier-pool water, Edgar and Fernando-waiters at La Ceiba restaurant. Small size of resort great. Quiet most of the time. Food was good -a little slow in service sometimes.
[-] More food/restaurant options. They did have a new sports bar but it was not open during our stay. Need ceiling fans in the patio outside the sports bar.

[+] The staff at this hotel are EXCELLENT, all of them. The service is what made our stay just brilliant and I felt like we got to know them and they were all super friendly and wanted to help us have a great time. From reception to concierge to Pool, we literally didn’t have a single interaction in 10 days that wasn’t 5 star.
[-] This is picky but we probably had the worst view in the hotel because we were on the second floor and the view was slightly blocked by the roof of the restaurant and a large bush. But that said, it was still pretty good. The room itself was spotless and the housekeeping absolutely excellent almost doing a total refresh for the turn down. It would have been better to have a larger bathroom and sink area because that was too small, especially considering the size of the room. That made it a bit annoying to get ready but I would still go back in a second because of the overall experience and the staff. For those two reasons this review is not a ten otherwise it would have gone up! I might have asked for a different room with a better view but I had pre-arranged birthday balloons and cake (also excellent service) so I didn’t want to impact that!
